Our Academies
Our purpose-built building, which opened mid-February 2017, gives students superb facilities that inspire, nurture and support academic achievement. There are dedicated areas for each of our faculties: Maths, English, Humanities, Technology, Science and PE and Performing Arts – to help students gain the most from their studies in a high-quality learning environment.
The Main Hall is used for Academy assemblies and events including plays, concerts and other productions using our professional performance stage area, complete with industry-standard sound and lighting box. We believe that a rounded education includes co-curricular activities; students can enjoy drama and dance in dedicated curriculum time. Students can also benefit from our recently upgraded sports courts and pitches, joining in with activities including athletics, football, hockey, cricket and netball.
